Children’s Medicaid and CHIP
Ages 0-18 (in some cases up to 20)
In Texas, children without health insurance may be able to get health and medical services through CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) or Children’s Medicaid. Both programs offer a wide range of services including regular checkups, dental care, eye exams, and glasses. Depending on your family’s income you might qualify for one of the two programs.
